Overview: the goal of the project was to contribute to the development of the digital literacy to support social inclusion, the digital society, and the learning skills of people (students and aging people), by building a digital ecosystem based on Web 2.0 and social software. Based on that ecosystem, aging people would stay connected to the society and family avoiding social exclusion and students will acquire necessary skills for their life (for studies, at the workplace and everyday life). The project explored some capabilities offered by the convergence of the semantic web approach and technologies, the Web 2.0, social software and context-aware services to provide a personalized and adaptive environment accessible through different means. The project provided missions and internships allowing its members to interact among the different labs involved.
